Hello there my name is Jimmy Nadeau and this is my back story on how I became a screen printer and started “luggage claim” so I had this plan about a year ago to start screen printing so around that time when I was working a full time job doing concrete with my dad I planned to get a few days in between my busy schedule to pick up some hours screen printing for a local printing company up the road from where I live. I worked there for about 3 months printing there part time to kinda get my feet wet in the screen printing field so the more I did it I started to fall in love with it but unfortunately they weren’t hiring full time at that time. so I continued to get more busy doing concrete with my old man so unfortunately didn’t have time to keep printing with that local business so I had to leave them. so fast forward a year later I decided to purchase a cheap little press from my local craft store and started messing around everyday with it doing little prints here and there and trying to really learn and dial in all I need to know about printing so I spent 2 or 3 months straight dialing it all in till I felt I was ready to quit my full time job to become my own boss and making screen printing my full time job.. so now luggage claim is my printing company and clothing brand. being able to print for myself and other jobs for people means the absolute world to me. so with that being said I wouldn’t be able to do this with out anyone of you who purchase anything or support luggage claim and letting me print your brand thank you so much <3
